His personality and sense of humor put everyone at ease. His planned activities were fun and just enough after a long day of touring. There was always laughter when Daniele was around. He joined us on tours, taking charge of a group and always making sure nobody got lost. Viking has a high proportion of balcony cabins, and the balconies are furnished with two chairs and a small table. The Explorer Suites are proper suites with a separate living and bedroom area, rather than the larger one-room cabin on Gate 1 Travel. The only "balconies" on Gate 1 Travel's ships are French balconies, where you can open the window and lean out over the railing but not step outside.
